Milky Way 'tastes of raspberries and smells of rum' →

Scientists have found a molecule called ethyl formate which gives raspberries their flavour - and rum its smell.
the find follows claims last October that space smells of fried steak and welding.
Nasa astronauts reported the scents on their space suits.
Meanwhile it was reported astonomers have found a planet the nearest in weight to Earth which could have water and support life.
Gliese 581e, several light years away, has a mass about twice that of Earth.
